7th LSA Beavers is a parish Beavers group, which has strong links with St. Annes Parish Church. As a colony we are well supported by the church’s children’s and families worker, Lisa Shaw, who takes an active role in Beaver meetings and activities. We are very grateful for Lisa’s support, as many of the Beavers recognise her from the church and Nursery School, giving them a better understanding of what it means to work together within a community.
As part of our commitment to the parish community and to the Beaver promise to behave in christian ways, the colony attends Church Parades. These parades take place termly and are part of the Sunday family service (10.30 am – 12 noon). Participation in Church Parades is also criteria for the Beaver Promise Challenge Badge.
