We hope you all had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We hope you enjoyed the Christmas activities at Cubs including the Gang Show, Carol Concert and Christmas Party and hope that most of you were able to see our tree in the Parish Church Christmas Tree Festival too.  

Following a very busy Christmas term we are currently finalising our planned activities for this term.  We will publish the programme shortly.  This term promises to be as busy as the last and we will be taking part in avtivities for Chinese New Year, Mother's Day and Easter as well as visting St Annes Swimming Baths to complete the swimming badges.  More details will follow in the next couple of weeks.

We'd just like to thank you all again for your continued support of the Group and remind you that the Group's Committee is always looking for volunteers to help with things such as the upkeep of the Cub Hut and grounds, as well as other more lighthearted events!  If you are able to help in any way, please contact our Group Chairman, John Hanson. 

Many thanks also for your fantastic support of our fundraising efforts for the Fylde District HQ Appeal.  A number of Cubs have already returned their filled Smartie boxes after earning 20p's by doing odd jobs and chores, but if any are outstanding, please let us have them as soon as possible.  Don't forget you can fill more than one if you like!   

Our term starts again on Wednesday 12 January and we look forward to seeing you then!

The dates for the 2011 Church Parades have not been confirmed yet, but generally we attend the following services: 

• Mothering Sunday (April 2011);
• Pentecost (May 2011),
• Harvest (October 2011) and
• Christ the King (November 2011).
