7th Lytham St Annes

Pack night starts at 6.45pm and finishes at 8.15pm on a Wednesday during term time.  Cubs is for children between the ages of 7½ and 10½.Once you are a Cub, you will join a ‘Six’, which as it sounds is a group of up to six Cubs.  One Cub is the ‘Sixer’, who is in charge, and another is the ‘Seconder’.  All Cubs will have the opportunity to work towards these roles.

We currently have Red Six, Yellow Six, Tawny Six and Black Six, and Cubs are encouraged to work as a team to gain points, with a monthly prize for the Six with the most points.

We start each pack meeting with a Grand Howl, where we break the flag and all salute - you will soon learn how to do this!

Then we have inspection to check you are wearing the correct uniform (points are awarded for this), then it’s on to the fun bit where we play games, do activities, learn about Scouting and generally have a good time!

We often have outings as a Group and visit many interesting places and organisations so we are not always at our Cub Hut on Pack Night.  If we are visiting somewhere else, parents will be asked to sign a consent form, which gives details of times, transport arrangements etc for the activity.
